Building a Stronger Glasgow Together

Our Community Mission

As a school uniform provider, we believe our responsibility goes far beyond supplying clothing. We play an active role in supporting the everyday lives of children and young people, helping them feel confident, included, and ready to learn. By aligning ourselves with organisations that prioritise education, opportunity, and community development, we contribute to something greater than ourselves.

With strong connections to schools, colleges, and universities across Scotland, we help create pathways to employment, support academic achievement, and invest in the future workforce. Our commitment to social and economic responsibility is reflected in our support for local businesses, charities, and educational initiatives. We understand that by giving back, through work experience opportunities, affordability schemes, and partnerships – we are helping build a more inclusive, vibrant, and prosperous Glasgow for everyone.

Giving back is not just something we do; it’s part of who we are. Every uniform we supply is a small part of a bigger mission – one that’s grounded in the values of community, inclusivity, and responsibility.

Our Community Initiatives

Education & Employability

As a uniform business with deep educational connections, we’re proud to collaborate with colleges and universities across Scotland to provide valuable work experience opportunities for students. Through work experience placements and collaborative projects, students have the opportunity to develop essential employability skills and apply their learning in a professional environment.

Our Career Ready programmes help young people students in secondary school bridge the gap between education and employment.

We are committed to nurturing local talent through our apprenticeship programme. We provide hands-on training and mentorship, and we are proud that many of our apprentices choose to stay with us, becoming valued members of our team

Local Economic Investment

We’re proud to have received the Gold Certificate of Recognition for Community Benefits Supplier from Glasgow City Council, acknowledging our commitment to supporting the local economy and creating social value in Glasgow.

By intentionally choosing to work with local businesses for our outsourcing needs, we help strengthen Glasgow’s business ecosystem. We believe that building a resilient local economy benefits everyone in our community and creates sustainable prosperity throughout the region.

Community Support & Charities

Our approach isn’t about grand gestures, it’s about showing up when it matters. We’ve hosted Christmas parties for 20 Glasgow schools, donated PPE to East End primaries, and provided £5,000 worth of supplies to the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice.

During the pandemic, we stepped up where we could. We fit-tested over 250 respiratory masks for frontline workers, donated coveralls to the Beatson, and supplied 500 visors to West Dunbartonshire care homes. It wasn’t about publicity, it was about people who needed help.

Beyond crisis response, we support ongoing initiatives like anti-bullying resources for primary schools, the “12 Days of Christmas” gift program, and partnerships with local colleges through charities like Beauty with a Conscious.

Our Community Voices

“Aspire Academy’s support for our graduating students has been incredible. The annual donation of leavers hoodies means so much to our pupils, especially those from families facing financial challenges. It’s a gesture that makes everyone feel included in this important milestone and shows that local businesses genuinely care about our school community.”
